Why We Do Not Quote a Price Over the Phone
You may have noticed that we will not throw out a number before seeing your project, and that is on purpose. Two homes that look alike from the street can need very different amounts of work once you look closely at the walls, the trim, and the condition of the existing paint.
Quoting a price sight unseen would mean either padding it to play it safe or lowballing it and cutting corners later. Neither is fair to you. An in person visit lets us give you an honest estimate built around your actual project, so the price you see is the price that makes sense for the work.

Yes, completely. The on site visit and the written estimate cost you nothing and come with no obligation. You only pay if you choose to hire us for the project.
How long does it take to get my estimate?+
We respond to your request within one business day to schedule the visit. After we see the project, we turn around a detailed written estimate quickly, usually within a couple of days.
Do I need to be home for the visit?+
For most projects it helps to have you there so we can talk through what you want and answer questions on the spot. If that is not possible, we can work out the details with you ahead of time.
Am I obligated to hire you after the estimate?+
Not at all. The estimate is yours to review with no strings attached. Take your time, compare options, and reach out whenever you are ready. There is never any pressure from us.
What should I have ready before the visit?+
Just an idea of what you want done and access to the spaces involved. If you have colors, finishes, or inspiration in mind, share them. If not, we are glad to help you figure it out during the visit.
